It is with sadness the family of Karen Marie Anderson-MacKinnon announce her passing which occurred peacefully and with family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She was aged 55 years of Montague and formerly of Farmington, PE.
She is survived by her son Cory, granddaughter Olivia Anderson and beloved mother Marjorie Anderson. Karen will be forever loved by her siblings Cathy Brake, Sheila Wolters (Dirk), Amanda Anderson, David (Diane), Scott (Angela), Steven (Christina) and Adam (Melanie) along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. In addition, she is survived by her special friends Don MacKinnon. Predeceased by her father Leo Anderson, nephews Cole Lawrence, Connor Taylor, niece Sabrana Anderson and brother-in-law Wayne Brake.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 5-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Charles Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00am with interment to follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Karen can be made to Diabetes Canada or the St. Charles Cemetery Fund and are appreciated by the family.
