1964-2023
Karen Lynn Reid – 58, of Waterville, Kings County,
passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late
Harold S. and Muriel (Lightfoot) Reid. She had been employed with
Canada Post in Waterville for many years. Karen enjoyed knitting and
was an avid reader. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved
her. She is survived by her sisters, Sheila (Edwin) Avery, Grafton and
Pearl Suderman, Alberta; good friend, Kim Schofield, Waterville;
several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by a sister. Eileen Smith and a brother, Harold
«Junior» Reid. In keeping with Karen’s
wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or
service. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to
the doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff of Valley Regional Hospital
– Medical Units A and B for their kindness and compassion in
caring for Karen. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your
choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
