In loving memory of Kalevi Leander Asiala who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at the age of 88 years.
Beloved husband of 66 years of Ritva (nee Aijala) Asiala. Survived by his children Jouko, Tarja, and Asko (Natashia), grandchildren Stefan (Andrea), Tommy (Amanda), Kaela (Brenden), Brian, Nikolas, and Hannah and great grandchildren Louie, Gracie, Cameron, Ainsley, and Madelyn. Dear sister to Hilkka, Liisa and Leena (predeceased), Paavo, Olavi (predeceased) and Leo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Finland.
A memorial service will be held at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 at 1pm. Donations to the SISU Foundation or New Hope Church would be appreciated (cheques only when donating at the funeral home).
