June E. Parsons
1938-2024
June Parsons, a
one-of-a-kind, loving soul, passed away peacefully on November 10th
2024. Born in 1938 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, she was known for her
generous heart and her many passions, from her incredible cooking to
her love of shopping. A highlight of her summers was always a good
plate of fish and chips, and she was well-known for her playful
spirit, especially around Christmas when she couldn’t resist
peeking at gifts (and perhaps unwrapping a few, only to rewrap
them!).
In her
early years, June moved to Fredericton to live with her sister, Bunny,
where she began her first job as a waitress at the Regent Restaurant.
There, she met the love of her life, Lloyd Parsons,and the two married
and started their journey together on June 24th 1954.The couple
settled in Hartland, where they bought a home in Carlisle, and built a
life filled with love and laughter. It was in this tiny home that they
started their family and their own hunting camp, creating memories
that would last a lifetime.
June
will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her family and
friends, who will remember her warmth, humor, and
love.
June
was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice Fellows. Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Parons; daughter
Brenda Parsons; and fours sisters, Kay, Jean, Gertrude and
Dorothy.
June is survived by her daughter Tammy Brewer (Todd);
grandchildren, Simone Palin, Brandon Craig, Ryan Brewer (Amanda),
Courtney Orser (Laurie), Cecily Corrick (Jordan); great grandchildren,
Jasmine Palin, Brantley Palin, Ariana Brewer, Trafton Brewer, Logan
Orser, Summer Orser, Ethan Barrett, Alexandra Corrick, Clara Corrick;
sisters-in-law, Shirley MacKenzie, Winnie Ellis And Zelma Parons.
A memorial service will he held at the Britton Funeral Home,
2 High Street, Hartland at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20th,
with Pastor Ryan Tompkins officiating. The interment will be in the
Carlisle Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made to the River
