It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the most amazing mum two children could have had. Joyce Walker aged 83 of Lower Argyle passed away on the 5th of October 2024 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Jenny O’Connell and is survived by her daughter, Carol; grandchildren, Perry, Matthew, Katherine, Aimee, George and Nick; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Barry); brothers, Bob (Brenda), Martin (Beverly), and Johnny (Joan). She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years George; and her son George, both of whom she missed so very much. She was also predeceased by her brothers Roy and Earl, sisters, Evangeline, Alice, May, Louise and Phylis. Mum was a hard worker and was always ready to help anyone. It was such a wonderful privilege to be her daughter. Her passing has left a huge hole in our family. Donations may be made to the heart and Stroke foundation. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. AS per her request there will be no service. Online condolences may be made at www.sweenysfuneralhome.net
