FINNEY, Joyce Ellenor Olive (nee Sanguine) ~ in her 92nd year, entered into rest. Wife of the late Ray Finney (2005), Mother of Lawrence (Laura) and Ross (Sue), Grandma to Sarah Finney, Scott Finney, Erin Almady (Keith), Hope Vohra-Finney, and Billy Vohra-Finney, Great-Grandma to Penelope Joyce Almady, Aunt to nephew Doug (Janet), and niece Valerie Hirst (Jim). Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Joyce is predeceased by her parents Arthur Sanguine and Ruby (nee Western), by her brother Don Sanguine (Pat), her brothers-in-law George and Ross Finney, and sisters-in-law Alice Upton, Jean, and Zella Finney.
In keeping with Joyce’s wishes cremation has taken place and a visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Friday, October 27th from 12:00pm until time of remembrance service at 1:00pm. Her ashes will be placed with her late husband Ray at Eden Church Cemetery, Cambray. Following the service please join the family at Stoddart Funeral Home for a time of remembrance and refreshments.
At the request of the deceased, as a remembrance, please do a kind deed for someone in need, or make a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.
