John Iasiah Kuiack («Jack») passed peacefully in the early hours of May 21, 2024 at Hospice Huntsville.
Born in Whitney, Ontario on June 29, 1936, to Barbara and Joseph Kuiack. Predeceased by his loving wife, Gennaline «Gen» Kuiack, son Robert «Bob» Kuiack (Pat) and Brothers Raymond, Emmitt, Sylvester, and sister Marie. Jack leaves behind his son James Kuiack, granddaughter Tasha Norman (Bradley), and brother Maximilian Kuiack. Favorite Uncle, Cousin, Friend to many.
Affectionately known to most by Jack, he’s been a fixture in the community since moving to Huntsville in the 1970’s for his career in the Ministry of Natural Resources. Jack’s impressive career had humble beginnings in logging camps. From there his passion for the outdoors, aptitude for learning, and commitment to hardwork propelled him to management by the time he retired. When asked about his years with the MNR, he would fondly say «it wasn’t like going to work because I loved my job».
Jack’s passion was the outdoors, whether it be fishing, hunting, or gardening. If he could have spent everyday in a canoe with a friend and a fishing rod, he would have.
Jack’s zest for life lit up a room, his jokes brought smiles to faces and wherever he went he left with a new friend. To say Jack will be missed is an understatement.
“Sunsets are proof that endings can often be beautiful, too.” –Beau Taplin
