HANNA, John Douglas «Jack» – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jack at the Stirling Manor on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving son of the late Murray and Ada Hanna. Beloved companion of 34 years to Barb McLean. Dear father to Karen Ibbotson (Norm), Patricia Hanna (deceased), Rick Hanna (Linda), David Hanna, Sherry Whaley (Neil), Peggy Hanna, and stepsons Steven and Brandon McLean. Cherished grandfather to 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Janet Flieler (Edward). Predeceased by his siblings Jim Hanna, Tom Hanna, and Dorothy Ostrom. Jack was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 55 + years. Jack will be fondly missed by his extended family and friends. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held from the 413 Wing (230 North Murray Street, Trenton) on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from 1:00pm – 4:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quinte Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Cremation arrangements are under the care of the RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES – TRENTON 60 Division Street (613-392-2111).
