We mourn the passing of John B Grozier, dear husband of Meg for nearly 58 years, a loving father of our four daughters Sarah (Brad), Fiona (Shayne), Morag (Mark), Eryne (Brian) of whom he was very proud and a loving Papa to his seven grandchildren Greg, Rachel, Andrea, Alex, Paige, Damon, Avery. John was born in Clydebank, Scotland and emigrated to Canada when he was 11 years old. His family settled in Woodstock, Ontario. Having no formal education due to early family obligations, developing a good work ethic, his word and handshake was his bond. He never stopped learning and researching having interest in so many subjects. A love of music and played the accordion and organ. An avid reader who loved science fiction books, astronomy, trains, solar energy and fixing and restoring cars even renovating our old farmhouse from top to bottom. He did so many things. He was a man of many talents, a ‘jack of all trades’ who gathered many friends along the way. At one time he and a family friend planned to take a hot air balloon ride, but didn’t get the chance. Now they will both be able to soar with the angels. You will be forever loved and missed. Rest in Peace John.
