Passed away with family by her side on Sunday December 29th, 2024 at the age of 97.
Loving wife of Stephen Cosgrove for 75 years. Much loved mother of Gary Cosgrove and his wife Jane and Kevin Cosgrove and his wife Belinda. Most cherished grandmother of Thomas and his wife Nicola, Cameron and his wife Rachelle, Stephen and his wife Brittany and Jessica and her husband Garrick.
Great Grandmother of Sophie, Aria, Colton, Lucas, Dawson, Capri, Harrison and Aurora.
Survived by her sister Sheila Readwin (late Arthur) and pre-deceased by her brother Edmund (late Frances)
Joan will be remembered by many nieces and nephews in England.
Joan’s family wish to offer their most sincere gratitude to the staff of Hillsdale Estates, Port Perry Hospital and Oak Ridges Hospice, your kindness shown to our family is most appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Brooklin on Sunday January 5th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
In memory of Joan, memorial donations to Oak Ridges Hospice or the Royal Canadian Legion, Brooklin would be appreciated.
