Peacefully passed away on August 2, 2023 at Extendicare Oshawa, in her 90th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Donald. Loving mother of Don (Phyllis) and Russell (Corinne). Dear sister of Jack (Ritch).
Joan loved spending time at her place in Virginia. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping people and animals. She was involved with the SPCA and SNAPS and was always willing to rescue and raise many animals.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
