In Loving Memory of Joan Aileen Clark
July 24, 1935 – July 4, 2024
Joan passed away peacefully at the Haliburton Hospital.
Joan was predeceased by her husband Gordon of 46 years. She is survived by her partner Manfred who was her companion for the last 22 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Linda (Terry Stamp-deceased), Brenda (Byron) Kellar, Ward (Gail) Clark, Barry (Lise) McDonald, along with her great nieces and nephews; Christopher, Teralyn, Sara, Wade, Douglas, Colleen and great great nieces and nephews. Joan will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Joan worked at GE for 25 years in Peterborough, ON. Joan had lived in Wilberforce for the last 30 years and had an active part in the legion as president and also had been a member of the Harcourt Community Centre.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden K0M 2K0 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of the Service to Celebrate Joan’s Life at 1:00 pm. Interment at South Wilberforce Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 624, 1007 Burleigh Road, Wilberforce.
Memorial Donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (HHHSF) would be appreciated by the family.
