Peacefully on Sunday, February 25th, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved partner of Don Gorgerat. Dear mother of Shawn (Josee), Julie (Michael) and Blain (Leeanne). Dear Sister of Raymond, and the late Ronald, Maurice and Claire. Cherished grandmother of Beki, Kaylee, Kirsten, Chelsey, Arin, Sydney and Brett. Great grandmother of Levi, Mason, Pax and Sawyer. Jeannette will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church 42 Dawson Road Orangeville, on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations in memory of Jeannette may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rodriguez and the staff on F wing at Headwaters Health Care Centre.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jeannette in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
