SERNASIE, Jean (nee McKenzie) – Passed away at the Welland Hospital on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 90 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Sernasie (2022) for 69 years. Loving mother of Sherry Caperchione (late John), Penny Zito (Frank), Mark (Therese) and Matthew (Terressa). Cherished grandmother of Staten, Santino, Carmen (Jo Marie), Jared, Spencer (Emily), Jordan and great grandmother of Chanelle. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Betty (Gord) O’Brien and Sharon and Jim Griffith. Predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy McKenzie. The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, July 11th 2023 from 3 to 7 p.m. A service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Wednesday, July 12th at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
