1946-2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Jean Langille of
Anfield, NB, announce her passing at the Edmundston Regional Hospital
on January 9, 2023.
Jean was born in Cowansville, QC, on November 7, 1946. She was the
daughter of the late David and Olive (Hamilton) McKellar. Jean leaves
behind her loving companion, Kenneth Agnew of Anfield, NB; her
daughters, Sandra Jackson (David) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Carol
Langille (Troy Briggs) of Chipman, NB, Jennifer Hughes (Edward) of
Quispamsis, NB; her sons, Robert Langille Jr. (Dawn) of Coles Island,
NB, Leo Langille (Tina) of Minto, NB, Jeffrey Langille (Tammy) of
Quispamsis, NB; her extended family, Patrick Agnew of Plaster Rock,
NB, Linda Agnew of Minto, NB, and Wendy Flowers of Minto, NB; her
sisters, Kathleen Metherell of Quispamsis, NB, Ruth Hudson of
Rothesay, NB, Joan Savoie (Nobert) of Saint John, NB, Joyce Gibson of
Saint John, NB; her brothers, David McKellar (Donna) of Scotchtown,
NB, William McKellar (Margaret) of Minto, NB, and John McKellar
(Yvonne) of Quispamsis, NB; along with numerous grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert Langille Sr.;
her son, Robert Langille Jr.; her sisters, Grace Gauthier, Betty
Anderson, and Florence Stewart; her brother, George McKellar.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home in Perth-Andover, NB, with
visitation on Thursday from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on
Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 2:30 pm from the funeral home. Father
Gilbert Doddatto officiating. Interment will be in the Anfield
Community Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to your local school breakfast
program would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
