Peacefully with his family by his side at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Monday May 6, 2024 at the age of 65. Dear son of the late James and Shirley. Beloved husband of Julie for 46 wonderful years. Loving father of Jennifer Scriven (Ted), and Jim Thorogood (Christina). Cherished by his grandchildren Ryan, Brady, Rhett and Sonia. Survived by his sister Debbie Bothen (Nick), Trish Always (John) and his brother Larry Thorogood. Dear son-in-law of Glen and Irene Mumberson. Brother-in-law of Bill Mumberson (Robin) and Heather Taylor (Jeff). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended work family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The Celebration of Life will be held at the Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St., Parry Sound) on Friday May 24, 2024 from 4 – 8 PM. Words of remembrance at 5 PM. If desired, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
