It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jan at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC with her family at her side.
Jan will always be remembered by her loving husband Dinu, son Adam, daughter Lisa and grandchildren Ryan and Justin, sisters Sandra Lenz, Marjorie Frame (Scott), Noreen Frame and brother Robert Frame (Jaynie). She will also be remembered and missed by many friends, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Jan was predeceased by her parents Hazel and George Frame and her sister Audrey Adam (Art).
She was born in Stony Plain and was raised on an acreage near Smithfield Corner, attending school in Duffield, Alberta. The family later moved to Edmonton in 1970 where Jan enrolled in Hair Dressing School. Jan was asked by many family members for hair cuts and perms which she happily performed.
Jan and Dinu fell in love and married in June 1974 in Edmonton and raised a loving family. Jan enjoyed gardening, cooking, walking, good humour and entertaining her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her fantastic cooking and care packages to all who visited. Jan loved her pets and rescued many dogs over the years including Oscar her companion for 16 years. In her youth, Jan was involved with the 4 H club where she rode her horse and competed in barrel racing.
There will not be a funeral at her request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
