Obituary
Jamie Hemeon, 51 years of age, of Barrington, NS. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father and husband, on June 7, 2024 at his residence. Born March 31, 1973 in Shelburne Co., he was a son of Susan and Stanley Cunningham.
Jamie was a lobsterman/fisherman since he was a teenager. He was an extremely hard worker. He loved cars, but it had to be a Ford; especially a Mustang! In his spare time Jamie loved Bass fishing, going on ATV rides, and spending time out in his barn with his friends. He loved spending time with his wife and daughter; he loved his fur babies (Kitty, Bella & Bria). Jamie would not think twice to help someone out in need but never asked for help himself.
Jamie will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Jamie N. Hemeon, daughter, Tanisha Finlay (Jordan Nickerson); parents, Susan & Stanley Cunningham, grandparents, Oleta & Warren Cunningham; Aunts & Uncles Sherry & Allan Crook, Cindy & Leon Hemeon; cousin Jody Crook (Lea Jane Smith).
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Frances and Churchill Hemeon.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. The family would like to invite you to Join them in celebrating Jamie’s life, his love for others and the lasting imprint he leaves on our hearts.
