James William Rocliffe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James «Jimmy» Rocliffe on November 20th 2024. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and children after a long battle with cancer.
Jimmy was born in Dublin, Ireland to James and Maureen in Nov 1972, the youngest of four children. He worked his way his way through life and eventually was the proprietor of a very successful menswear and dress-hire business in Swords – one of Dublin’s largest towns and was extremely popular with his clientele.
Jimmy and Caroline met in 1997 and had three beautiful children before emigrating to Calgary in 2014 – first residing in Cochrane before settling in Calgary where the Canadian baby joined the family in 2018. Jimmy was an adoring husband and father. He loved the mountains, a good pint of Guinness and of course cheering loudly for Liverpool FC. He had a great sense of humour and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it Jimmy is survived by his wife Caroline (nee: Macken), children Ashlee, Fiadh, James, and Patrick, parents James and Maureen, siblings Lorraine, Suzanne and Stephen, extended family and friends
He will be missed beyond measure and loved eternally.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at St. Albert The Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Dr. SE, Calgary) at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at Limericks Pub (7304 Macleod Trail) from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
