Ian Macintosh formerly of South Lancaster, passed away at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the age of 80. Ian was the son of the late Ken & Mable (née Bellis) Macintosh. He leaves behind his daughter Kendra Macintosh, son Chad Macintosh (Katt), grandsons: Hunter and Harrison Macintosh and loving companion Linda Maloney. Ian was an avid outdoors-man who appreciated and valued the land and water. He enjoyed many hours fishing, hunting and birding. His passion was to protect the Cooper Marsh and the St. Lawrence River. Ian was a member of the Fish and Game Club. He met his aggressive illness MSA-P (a form of Parkinson’s Disease) with courage and grace. In memory of Ian you may wish to donate to Parkinson’s Canada or the charity of your choice. The funeral will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in South Lancaster on September 23, 2023 at 11 am with visitation from 9:45 – 10:45 am. Interment of his urn in the Parish cemetery following the Service.
