It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack, late of Regina, SK, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Lorraine (née Young); children Wendi (Edmond), Jim (Rodelyn), Leanne, Nancy (Brad); grandchildren Sharon (Steve), Monica (Trevor), Mari, Sonja (Giles), Willie (Ashley), Bronwyn (Travis), and best buddy David Sentes.
Jack was born on the family farm outside of Vibank, Saskatchewan on March 4, 1930. After high school, he moved to Regina where he had a 36-year career at SaskTel. Jack volunteered at the Marian Centre for 50 years. He enjoyed curling, singing, and loved the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Blue Jays.
Those who sought out Jack’s advice appreciated and valued his wisdom. He had a subtle sense of humor that could be easy to miss.
Jack will be missed.
Funeral Service will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral 2104 Garnet St, Regina, SK on Monday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marian Centre, 1835 Halifax Street Regina, SK S4P 1T4. Service will be livestreamed.
