Shediac, N.-B – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Jaillet of residence O’Bon Soins, that occurred on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre at the age of 92.
Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and Marie (LeBlanc) Babineau.
Florence was a woman of faith, she often helped prepare the eucharist at her residence at O’Bon Soins. It came naturally for her to help others, and she always had a positive attitude. She was loved by all her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Aline (Ronald) Gautreau of Shediac; her three sons: Roger (Cathy), Robert (Janice) and Roland (Debbie) all three of Dieppe; her daughter-in-law, Debbie; her three sisters: Florine (Ulysse) LeBlanc, Dora (Adrien) Hébert and Lorraine Babineau (Olando Boudreau) all three of Shediac; her eight grandchildren: Ashley, Nicholas, Jason, Nicholas, Patrick, Jean-Luc, Julien and Jonathan; her three great granddaughters: Ellie, Willow and Mélodie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tilmon Jaillet, her son, Donald and by her two sisters: Anna and Alma.
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Wednesday, March 8th, from 6 to 8 pm and on Thursday, March 9th, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus RC Church in Dieppe, on Thursday, March 9th at 11:00 am.
We, the family of Florence, wishes to express our gratitude to Dr. Rheal Boudreau who took great care of our mother over the years. Your compassion will never be forgotten.
