Passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, Ina Jean Bursey (nee Evans) in her ninetieth year, from Botwood.
Ina was born November 13, 1934, in Northern Arm. She had four sisters and one brother.
She was predeceased by her parents Gilbert and Minnie Evans, her sisters Clarice Brent (Bruce), Marion Jardine (Jimmy), Margaret Ivany (Roy), infant Eileen and her brother Wendell.
She was also predeceased by her parents-in-law Pastors Frank and Hazel Bursey, brother-in-law David Bursey, sister-in-law Ada Slade (Hubert), and her husband.
She worked at Botwood Stores until she married her husband Elmer.
She and her husband enjoyed travelling around the continent of North America, and also Europe. They were avid boaters and snowmobilers- boating with Bob and Teen (towing each other when necessary!) in the Bay of Exploits, and enjoying the cabin country around New Bay with Ron and Maude, Arch and Doreen.
Left to mourn are her brother-in-law Arnold, her sister-in-law Joan; her children Peter, Helen and Donna; her grandchildren Jonathan (Jennifer), Michael (Jennifer), Nicholas, Timothy (Kady), Miranda (Travis) and Kristen (Gabriel); great grandchildren Alexander, Spencer, Grace, Sophia and Charlee.
