Peacefully, surrounded by loving family and friends, on August 28, 2024, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Ila was the beloved, devoted wife of Frank Grysar, until his passing in 2015.
Ila was the beloved daughter of the late Harold and Norma Scott.
She was the devoted mother to her children, Eric Franz Grysar and Heidi Elizabeth Grysar.
Ila was the wonderful. loving sister of the late Harvey (late Sharon) Scott, Rosemary (Ronald) Vella, and Norma Jean (late Wayne) Buffett.
Ila Gay was the truly beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews, in whom her recipes will live on, and the cherished friend to many, but especially Ed and Julie Chappell and family, and Tammie Callery.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Ila’s Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Long Term Care unit, or a charity of your choice.
