Ignacia was a faithful woman who loved the Lord,her family and church. She passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023 at 98 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Arcadio (1967). Loving mother of Lucy Patolot (late Leonardo), Belen Joya (Reynato), Mel Avinante (Corazon) and Flora “Enna” Avinante. Cherished Lola of Ozelle Case (Rodney), Emmeline Ventimiglia (Anthony), Ron Patolot (Sue), Michael Joya (Eiko Hamada), Melissa Joya (Vino Underwood), Desiree Gorham (Frank), Christine Castillo (Carlo), Pamela Pres (Bobby) and Kristopher Avinante. Great-Lola of Andrew, Elizabeth, Arianna, Brianna, Nia, Ava, Takuma, Zakuma, Kayla, Alexa, Jonathan, Evelyn, Marcus, Ilan, Liliana, Gavriel, Emery. Loving aunt of Amy Peji (Tachi), Alex, Emily and relatives in the Philippines.
Lola was a dedicated employee at the former Beacon Hill Lodge as a dietary aide for sixteen years.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Brouillette Manor for their extraordinary care of Lola during her stay there.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Brouillette Manor in honor of Ignacia Avinante.
Visitation on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., parish prayers 4:30 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd, East Windsor (519-969-5841).
On Saturday, family and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 834 Raymo Rd. for visitation at 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
