Obituary of Ida Bruni
Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, June 16, 2024, just four days before her 97th birthday. She is now reunited with her beloved late husband, Filippo. Cherished mother of John (Lina), Rose Martone (Rocco) and Gene. Loving Grandma of Philip, Michael, Ida (Deric), Kevin (Tricia), Anthony (Cristina), Natalie (Trevor), Matthew (Chelsea). Great Grandma of Isabella, Sophia, Roman, Marco, Luca, Gianni, James, Clara, Kyle, Kole, Kaden, Konner, Damian, Austin, Ethan, Grace, Lorenzo, Carina and Anna. Sister of late Carla (late Albert), Maria (late Domenico), late Sylvio (Annetta), Gaetano (Josephine), late Angelina (late Genio), late Liundina (late Giovanni), late Francesca (late Carmine), late Gilda (late Geniale), late Giovanni, and late Emilio (late Ida). Sister-in-law of the late Margaret (late Rosario), late Ernesto (late Rosaria), late Maria (late Emilio) and the late Annetta (late Paolo). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral mass to follow at St. Gerard Majella Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses in Emerg for their compassion and kindness.
