Howard Walter Eugene
Miller – 58, of Belmont passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 1,
2023 at home.
Howard was born in St.
John’s, Newfoundland, and grew up in the heart of the city. As he made
his way through life, he found a whole new life when he fell in love
with his co-worker. Together, they made the move to Truro, and grew
their lives together. Howard was a family man, who was always a
provider, and always put his girls first. He worked for almost 20
years with International Inventories, and he was a dedicated worker.
He had no trouble being silly with his grandchildren, and loved taking
them on adventures. His eldest granddaughter, Shayla, was his best
buddy, especially with sharing their birthday on the same
day.
Howard leaves to
mourn, his wife and partner of 18 years, Doris; step-daughter,
Samantha; and grandchildren, Shayla and Scarlett, who owned his heart
fully; family friend, Phil, brother-in-law, Frank; along with his
brother, Harold, niece and nephew, extended family, and small circle
of friends.
Howard was predeceased by his
parents, Harold Eugene and Elizabeth (Greeley) Miller; sister, Helen,
and mother-in-law, Marjorie.
The family wish
to extend a special thank you to the VON, for their services and
continued support for the last 7 years.
Arrangements have been
entrusted to Mattatall-Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. If
so desired, donations to a charity of choice are welcomed. Private
messages of condolences may be sent to the family by viewing
