It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Howard Joseph Lake of St. Lawrence announces his passing. Howard passed away at the BPHCC in Burin on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at the age of 82.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sons, Sean (Elvie), Dean (Sue), Barry (Tina); daughters, Margaret (Jim), Glenda (Randy), Lorna (Claude); six grandchildren, Darren, Trevor, Colin, Nicholas, Madison, and Sophie; three great grandchildren, Oliver, Amelia, and Riley; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Howard was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Lake; parents, Emeil & Alice Lake; children, Michelle and Howard; grandchildren, Braydon Pike, and Courtney Lake; sisters, Jessie Pike, Lydia Drake, Theresa Slaney, and Rose Lake; brothers, Joseph, Gus, and Gordon Lake.
The Lake Family will be accepting visitors at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church St. Lawrence, on
Saturday, June 10th, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Sunday, June 11th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on
Monday, June 12th, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Lawrence.
In Howard’s memory donations may be made to the St. Lawrence Fire Department, the St. Lawrence Soccer Association, or flowers gratefully accepted.
