It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Henry Gancman z”l, Holocaust survivor, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather in his 99th year. He passed away on July 3rd, 2024 at Sunnybrook Health and Sciences Centre in Toronto.
Henry was a loving husband to the late Bernice z”l for 69 years and devoted father and father in law to Ellen and Warren, Paul and Corrie and Sharon and Mark. He was a proud grandfather to Jessica and Brad, Adam and Mallory, Shauna, Lee and Sophie, Ari, Jamie, Tara and Daniel and Blair. Henry was also a proud great grandfather to Cooper, Reece, Logan, Hudson, Axel, Abigail and Ezra.
Special thanks to Judith and Eugenia for their care and compassion.
Henry was a kind and generous man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
