The family announce with great sorrow the passing of our father at the age of 86 years on Thursday, December 28th,2023. Beloved husband and soul mate of Marie Colette Le Bouthillier (Chaput) predeceased in 2017. Loving father of Richard (Darlene), Francine Bellerose (Robert “Bob”), Robert (Tracey), Pauline Pilon (Reginald) and Frank. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Le Bouthillier, Rebecca Montgomery, Christine Bellerose, Michael Bellerose, Christian Le Bouthillier, Bobby Le Bouthillier Alexis Le Bouthillier, Renée Pilon, Julie Pilon, Jacob Le Bouthillier and great grandchildren Haven Bellerose Brons, Leonie Bellerose Cronier, Zoe Everett, Leela Pilon, Kaylee Ferguson, Logan Le Bouthillier, Brooklyn Montgomery, Nathan Robert Le Bouthillier, Bennett Le Bouthillier, Hannah Le Bouthillier, Carter and Sadie Le Bouthillier, Tyson Montgomery, Maggie Le Bouthillier, Jacob and Blake Bellerose, Nolan Le Bouthillier, Mia Colette Pilon Bishop and Ari Pilon Bishop. Dear son of Alexis and Rhina (Savoie) Le Bouthillier both predeceased and son-in-law of Gédéon and Alma (Larrivière) Chaput both predeceased. Dear brother of Anne Pepin of Alberta, Polly Marguerite Clifford, Ann French and Howard Lord all of New Brunswick. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Henry was a supervisor for the Greater City of Sudbury leisure department of many years. After he took pension in 1995, he was appointed by the Governor General to be part of the Federal Government to work on the review Tribunal for CPP and Old Age Pensions for 9 Years. He was a very devoted and loving person who loved his family deeply and he was a very loving husband to our mother Colette for over 62 years. He was a people person, helping everyone in need and he never knew what the word “no” was. He volunteered for over 60 years. He was recognised by the Province in 2023 with a 50 year Pin and the Queen in the 60th year medal. Henry was a Knight of Columbus with his 3rd and 4th degrees, Council 5005 Hanmer, he was active for many years. He was also active with the Saint Jaques Parish in Hanmer which is also the church our parents were married in 1955. He was a member of the Centre Club D’Age D’Or de la Vallée which he was on the executive committee, 6 years as President, 2 years as Vice President and additional years as member and councillor. Henry was involved in many sports, groups, minor and major hockey, President of the Nickel District Hockey League. He scouted for some colleges and universities, scouted for Central Scouting and the Cornwall Royal Major Jr. A League, 2 Memorial Cups 1984-1985 and 1985-1986. He was on the executive committee of the Northern Ontario N.O.H.A Association. Henry loved his children so much and he loved the generation after his own children.
