SIMARD, Henriette Yvonne
Passed away peacefully the evening of Monday, March 27, 2023, at her residence West Perth Village of Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell, Ontario. Henriette was born 85 years ago in Senneterre, Quebec, a daughter of the late Eugene and Lumina (Beauvais) Bilodeau.
Cherished and loving mother of Sylvie Simard (Geale DeVries) and Michel Simard. Devoted grandmother of Michael Ferreira (Cindy Roy), Matthew Ferreira (Melissa), Cassandra Ferreira (Craig Nutley) and Chantal Simard. Henriette will be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jayden, Brody, Brayden, Amelia and Liam. Survived by her sister and brother Paule Bilodeau (Sarto Fortin predeceased) and Réjean Bilodeau (Vicky predeceased).
Henriette is predeceased and now reunited with her beloved husband Louis Jean Simard, son-in-law Dan Ferreira and by her many siblings and inlaws.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Friday, March 31, from 4 – 7 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at Holy family Roman Catholic Parish on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Robert Love officiating. Interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to the Alzheimer Society and can be done by contacting the funeral home.
