Helen Merkley
Passed away at Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville on Friday January 26, 2024 at the age of 103. Helen (née Armstrong) , beloved wife of the late Charles Merkley. Much loved mother of Dorothy Jocko, Charles Merkley (Sharon) and Garry Merkley (Pat). Predeceased by 1 son Wayne Merkley. Cherished grandmother of numerous grandchildren, great grand children and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by 6 brothers Bill, Harry, Merton, Albert, Orville and Paul Armstrong and by 1 sister Alma Brown. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Tuesday January 30 from 11:00 am until time of service in our chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment Gananoque cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre or to the Gananoque Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
