1931-2023
At Borderview Manor, Van Buren, Maine, May 23, 2023, Mr.
Hector Gagnon of Van Buren passed away at the age of 92 years. He was
the widower of Alfreda Doucette. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1931, he was
a son of the late Emile M. and Esther (Harvey) Gagnon.
He is survived by three children, Rachel Gagnon of
Edmundston, Roy Desjardins (Darlene Sybrandy) of Fort Fraser, BC and
Gisele Desjardins (Mike Robichaud) of Sus, NB, grandchildren,
James, Tony and Gary (Gisele) Rossignol, Lise Ruest Clavet, Rene
Ruest, Tammy and Chantelle Desjardins, Jason and Brian Sybrandy,
several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived
by two sisters, Sister Jeanne Gagnon of Quebec and Bernadette Godin
(Lionel) of Menneval.
He was predeceased by his wife Alfreda, brothers Gerard and
Alcide and sister Therese.
Resting at O’Regan’s Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street,
Saint-Leonard with visiting hours on Monday June 5th from 9:00 to
10:30 a.m.
His funeral service will be
held Monday June 5th at 11
a.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic
Church with interment in the St-Antoine-de-Padoue Cemetery of
St-Leonard-Parent.
For those who wish, donations to a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated by the family.
