April 10, 2023
Hartmut, 81, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side in the morning of April 10. He is survived by his loving wife, Annette; his sister Siegried and brother-in-law Manfred; several nieces and nephews, cousins and the Hong Ting family. He is predeceased by his parents, Helmut and Edith Beneditz.
He will be remembered for his sense of humour, acts of kindness, and devotion to his wife. An avid sportsman and lifelong athlete, he was often sighted in High Park on his bike, rollerblades or skates or at the local Tim Horton’s.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16th from 2-4 p.m. and a Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, April 17th at 3 p.m. at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario.
In lieu flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
