Obituary
Nickerson, Harry Frederick – 76, of Clam Point, passed away peacefully at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with family by his side on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. He was a fisherman for 40 years and a fish splitter at Stoney Island Fisheries until he retired. Harry loved to call his family and friends daily to keep in touch. Even tough with health issues he faithfully attended Stoney Island Baptist Church. On January 26, 2018 Harry gave his heart to his Lord and continued to walk with his Lord until he passed.
Harry is survived by his wife, Patricia of Bay Side Home for 55 years; sons, Harry James (Gail) of Tusket, Erroll of Digby and Dale Stewart of Shelburne; daughter, Gail of Clam Point; granddaughters Kaitlin (Avery) of Yarmouth and Hailey of Alberta; siblings, Sylvia of Stoney Island, Judy (Sheldon) of Clam Point, Richard (Wanda) of Barrington and Billy (Mike) of California. Besides his parents, Ashton and Colleen Nickerson, he was predeceased by brother, Johnny and sister, Shelley.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursed of ICU, and the 4th floor Palliative Care doctors and nurses for taking special care of our dad. No visitation requested by Harry as cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, at 2:00 pm from the Old Kirk Cemetery, North East Point for family and friends.
