It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother Hannah Rogers on May 6th, 2023 at James Paten Memorial Regional Health Centre. Hannah was 94 years of age.
Predeceased by her husband Leonard Mackenzie Rogers, her parents Jessie and Edgar John Brown, brothers and respective sister-in-laws Jacob, Raymond, Abel, Roland (Violet), and Marcus (Mabel), her son Matthias Rogers, son in law Phillip Samuel Brown and grandson baby Phillip Brown.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her three children Stewart (Carolyn), Margaret, Mackenzie (Carrie), and her daughter in law Pearl, her two sisters Gertrude (Raymond) and Julia (Gerald), her grandchildren Sherry (Blair), Darryl (Grace), David (Rexine), Tara (Roger), Dion (Tanya), and Leonard (Nancy), her great grandchildren Sydney, Trevor, Braden, Dylan, Dustin, Jake, Courtney, Danielle and Chloe, her great great grandchildren Charley and Ryder, her foster granddaughter Natalie and foster great granddaughter Sadie (Lance) and Stacy (Kevin), her foster great great grandchildren Katelyn, Amber, and Cadence, and many other relatives and friends.
Nan will always be remembered for her love for her family and friends, her witty comeback remarks, and for giving a helping hand to others. We will miss you dearly.
Family Service will take place on Tuesday May 9th, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 10th, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, and from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
Funeral service will be on Thursday May 11th, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
All will be held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Trinity.
