Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at Chancellor Park, St. John’s on April 15, Greta Moores Stagg, age 93 of Little Catalina.
Greta is predeceased by her loving husband Will John, her Father and Mother Isaac and Mary Ellen Howell, grandson Chad Stagg, brothers Cliff Howell, Alfred Howell and sisters Minnie Blackwood, Letsie Sturge and Maisie Fry.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her 4 sons Terry, Kevin, Rennie and Deno, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Bride and many other cherished family and friends.
Greta will always be remembered for her fun loving ways and her generous nature. Her door was always open to anyone.
The family would like to express very special thanks to the staff of Chancellor Park for their care over the years and especially for the compassion, respect and dignity during her final days. We would also like to thank the staff of Shirley’s Haven for their care while she was a resident.
********Visitation will take place at Strathie’s Funeral Home, Catalina on Sunday, April 16 from 7-9 and Monday, April 17 from 2-4 and 7-9.
********Funeral Service will take place at Calvary Memorial United Church, Little Catalina on Tuesday, April 18 at 2pm. ******
