It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gordon Robert Trca, who left us peacefully on November 4, 2024 at the age of 84. Gordon was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
He is survived by his devoted wife Joyce who stood by his side throughout a life full of love and adventure. Gordon’s legacy lives on in his cherished children Talena, Gordon Jr, and Todd. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Christian, Jessica, Cailin, Brendan, Geordon, Breanna, and Anastasia who will always remember him fondly.
Gordon cared for his brothers, Dave, John, Roy, Jim, and his sisters Joan, and Margret. Gordon was loved by his late parents, Father Arthur, Mother Mary, and his Stepfather Charlie.
Gordon was known for his generous outreached programs for the less fortunate and homeless in his community through his ministry, Bridge to Faith Ministries, where he dedicated his time and heart to uplift and support those in need.
Family and friends will be gathering to celebrate his life and honour the memories he left behind. The celebration of his life will take place on November 30th, 2024 at the Kearney’s Columbia-Bowell Chapel. The viewing will be held at 9:30am, the service at 10am followed by the reception.
There will be a cemetery service at Robinson Memorial Park at 1:30pm after the reception.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
