Parcourez la nécrologie de Glenna Johnston 1932 2024 résidant dans la province Nouveau-Brunswick pour le détail des funérailles
It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of
Glenna J. Johnston at the Charlotte County Hospital on January
4th, 2024.
Glenna was the daughter of the late Bruce and Elsie
Scott.
Mom’s favorite place to be was home. She
never minded being a stay-at-home mother and loved when the kids came
home, coming through the door yelling «Mum»!
She could do anything with her hands whether be knitting,
sewing, needlepoint or quilting. Mom would always give a hand quilt to
her children and grandchildren as wedding gifts. Mom made
wreaths, caned chairs and even laced lacrosse sticks. She
was well known for her pies, cookies and bread. The cookie
jar never stayed full.
Mom spent many years a member of the Genealogy
Society.
Mom had an unending ability to love and support her family
that extended to the children’s friends.
Mom’s home was always a safe place for any child and many of
them still referring to «Mom» as
«Gram».
Glenna is survived by sons, Steven, Dana (Elizabeth), Anthony
(Susan), Kenneth (Cindy), daughters, Diane Lewis (Ralph), Gloria
Stewart (Vince) and Angela Johnston, twelve grandchildren, nine great
grandchildren, brothers, Gerald Scott and Robert Scott (Toni), sisters
in law, Helena Tibbs (Lee) and Jackie Dailey (Mike), several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was predeceased by her
husband Austin.
At Glenna’s request a private graveside service
will be held at the Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, New
Brunswick.
For those who wish, charity of one’s choice would
be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family online
