Giuseppe Martino, beloved husband, father, nonno, and bisnonno, passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family. Giuseppe lived a life defined by love, dedication, and warmth.
Giuseppe’s legacy is deeply intertwined with the love he shared with his devoted wife, Teresina. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of love, having weathered life’s joys and challenges together for over six decades.
As a father, Giuseppe was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his sons Stefano (Vicki), Nick (Barb), Remo (Sharon), Maurizio (Wanda), and Fabio (Kathleen). He imparted invaluable lessons of integrity, hard work, and compassion, shaping them into the remarkable men they are today.
Giuseppe’s greatest joy came from his role as nonno to Dannielle, Teresina, Nicolina, Angelina, Marisa, Blayd, and Jessica. His love knew no bounds as he delighted in their laughter, celebrated their achievements, and provided unwavering support throughout their lives.
In his later years, Giuseppe experienced the profound joy of becoming a bisnonno to Zack, Christopher, Miley, Nixon, Isabella, Aria, Ava, Kaius, Freya, Haley, and Liam. He cherished each moment spent with his great-grandchildren, imparting his wisdom and showering them with affection.
Giuseppe is survived by his siblings, Domenico, Vito, and Rita, who shared in his journey and cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Giuseppe Martino leaves behind a legacy of love and family that will continue to inspire and comfort those who were touched by his remarkable spirit.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society in memory of Giuseppe Martino.
Visitations for Giuseppe have been entrusted to the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500) and will commence on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. and conducted at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge, On.). Immediately following Giuseppe’s Mass, an entombment Service will take place at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd., Etobicoke, On.)
