Obituary
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Giuseppe “Joe” Scandinavo on February 29, 2024.
Joe was born in Toronto on May 17, 1964 to parents Antonietta and the late beloved Benito. Joe leaves behind Vanda, a loving and caring wife of 34 years.
He will be missed by sister: Aurora (Bruno), Rita (Carman), beloved Anna (Gino), Cathy (Eric) brother Frank (Enza). Brother in law Peter (Debbie), Ron, mother in law Ida (the late beloved Mario).
May Joe be the Guardian Angel to his 14 nieces and nephews. Joe will be missed by his many friends, family and relatives and the boundless love he generously shared with all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Joe’s caregiver Maureen Lindsey, for her love and care and for giving Joe the gift of music. To Bridgepoint Active Health, Dr. Tepper, nurses and staff of 6 North, thank you for making Joe feel so loved for the past 7 years and for making him smile every day. To Toronto Western Hospital, Dr. Walker, nurses and the Palliative Care Team, thank you for your support.
