Peacefully, on January 15, 2023, at the age of 90, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Beverly for 62 years. Much loved father of Zina Vivier and husband Fred, Joe and wife Vickie, Lisa Morse and husband Rob. Cherished Papa of Emily, Zachary, Payge, Jason, Paiton, Nicholas, Sarah and Spencer. Treasured Great-Papa of Jordanne, Liam and Alex. Predeceased by his parents Vincenza and Giuseppe Del Monte. Dear brother of Italia Olivastri (the late Eugene), and predeceased by Tony, Peppino, Alfonsa Fantauzzo (Salvatore), Antoinietta Morreale (George), and Benny (Sandra). Joe will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joe loved his music. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and his gift of singing. His passion was Opera music. Joe was a skilled Carpenter and Glazier, and he worked for over thirty years in that capacity. Above all, he loved his family dearly.
Thanks to Hospice for the end of live care, and to Jenn from Community Peramedicine Program, and a very special thanks to Dr. Henry Fortuna for his continuous care.

Visitation Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Visitation will continue Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Funeral Service to celebrate Joe’s life at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841). Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
