Gilda Guglietti, a woman whose warmth and love touched the lives of everyone she encountered, peacefully passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 92. She has now been joyfully reunited with her loving husband, Angelo, in the embrace of Heaven.
Gilda was a beacon of love and strength for her family, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her devoted children, Isiena (Valentino), Lucy (the late Vincenzo), and Paula (the late Domenic), who carry forward the legacy of a remarkable woman.
Her presence was a source of comfort and joy for her cherished grandchildren, Sabrina, Vince (Josie), Alessandra (Gian Paolo), and Domenic-Paul. Gilda’s love extended through generations, forever embraced by her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Julian, Luca, Sierra, Victoria, Lorena, and Livia.
Gilda’s love knew no bounds. Her kindness and compassion were evident in every aspect of her life. She was not just a matriarch; she was the heart and soul of her family. Her nurturing spirit created a home filled with love, laughter, and a sense of belonging that will be a cherished memory for years to come.
Gilda’s impact reached beyond her immediate family, as she was beloved by her many nieces, nephews, and a vast network of extended family and friends. Her genuine warmth and caring nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her legacy is not just in the years she spent with us but in the love, she shared, the lessons she imparted, and the countless lives she touched. Gilda’s memory will forever be a reminder of the power of love and the enduring impact of a life well-lived.
As we bid farewell to Gilda, let us remember her with joy in our hearts for the beautiful person she was and the indelible mark she leaves on our lives. As the family embarks on this journey, they invite all family and friends to join them for visitation at the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500) which will commence on Monday, January 22nd, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on, Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, at 10 a.m., and conducted at St. Jude’s Parish (3265 Weston Road, Toronto, On.). Entombment service to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, On.)
