I am so sorry to hear about Geri’s passing. I taught with Geri for 20 years at Smithfield Middle School in north Etobicoke, and found her to be a very caring teacher and a wonderful friend. I remember her annual Christmas parties at her beautiful home in Brampton. Her Christmas tree decorating always left us in awe. Geri was also an avid gardener, and we spent many happy Saturdays participating in garden tours. Geri was a very creative, talented person. We did not keep in touch as well the last few years, but I will miss her friendship very much.
