Geraldine Lucie d’Entremont, age 92, of Nakile Home
for Special Care, Argyle and formerly of Lower West Pubnico, passed
away December 5, 2023 in the home. Born in Lower West
Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Denis Augustin
d’Entremont and Lucie Augusta (d’Entremont)
d’Entremont. Geraldine is survived by son; Norman,
daughters; Cecilia (Terry) d’Entremont, Janet (Milton)
d’Eon and Gail (Allister) d’Entremont, all of
Lower West Pubnico, brothers; Flavien (Rolande) and Raymond
(Elizabeth) both of Lower West Pubnico, sister; Fidelis
d’Entremont, Lower West Pubnico, Muriel (André)
Ouimet, Georgetown, Ontario and Rena (Junior) Boudreau, Petit de Grat,
NS, grandchildren; Nicole, Claude, Jeanne, Louis and Simone, great
grandchildren; Rylan, Ashlyn, Eli, Ellie, Kate, Halee, Celeste, Emery
and Evvie. She was predeceased by her husband Leonce Arthur
d’Entremont, brothers; Edward, Jean Levi, Herman and Hector
in infancy and a sister Helena.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from
6:30-8:30 in the West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West
Pubnico. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 9,
2023 at 10am in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle
West Pubnico with Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. The
service will be live streamed on the West Pubnico Funeral Home and
Cremation Services Facebook site beginning at 10am. Interment will be
in the parish cemetery. A reception will follow at the West
Pubnico Fire Hall. Donations in memory may be made to St.
Peter’s Cemetery Fund or to a charity of one’s
choice. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family at
westpubnicofh.com. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the
West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West

It’s with sadness that we say goodbye to our beautiful Mom.
She was a very quiet person that enjoyed staying at home. After her
children were grown, she took a few jobs in retail mostly at
Sears.
She enjoyed her afternoon soap shows and evening Price is
Right and Jeopardy.
She also enjoyed going out in her yard to do some
weeding. The family would like to thanks the staff of Nakile
Home for the care and love that was given to our
mother.
Have a great reunion with Papa. You will be
missed.
