At the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Wednesday March 27, 2024. Gerald Vincent Leroux; aged 75 years. Beloved Husband of Barbara (nee Derouchie). Loving father of Christopher (Ronnie) and the late David. Dear brother of Frederick (Rose), Marcel (Audrey), Clifford (Greta), and Lucille LaPlante. He is predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Angeline (nee Quesnel) Leroux; also by siblings Leonel (Georgette), Leona (late Donald), Lillian (late Joseph) and Elaine (Bob). Gerald was proud of his grandchildren: Nicholas, Gracie, Ethan, Soran, Meghan (David Thompson) and Morgan Fordyce (Zachary) as well as his great-grandchildren Aryianna, Aurora, Kadison, David and Cameron. Gerald was also a caring brother-in-law to Lionel Derouchie (Sue), Richard Derouchie (Charron), Dale Juhasz (Rob), Heather Hughes and Gary Derouchie (Daniella). He will be missed by many friends, neighbours and extended family. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). As per Gerald’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will take place on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 10:30am at St. James’ Roman Catholic Church, 14 Catherine St. E, Maxville, ON.. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
