It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Gerald Farewell of Creston South announces his passing. Gerald passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the age of 62.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sisters, Evelyn Perham (John) of Creston South, Viola Miles (Lionel) of New Brunswick, Marina Newbury (Dennis) of Burlington, Sandra Newbury (Frank) of Burlington, Georgina Dawe (Paul) of Creston South and Marilyn Winsor (Laurie) of Deer Lake; brothers, Leslie Farewell (Mauricette) of PEI and Cyril Farewell (Jean) of Creston North; special nephews, Wade Mayo, Donny Dawe and Bradley Dawe; large number of nieces and nephews; his special buddy girl, Evelyn Cox; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Lester & Martha Farewell; sisters, Frances Mayo (Gordon) and Mary Diamond (Caleb).
The Farewell Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on:
Friday, July 26th
1pm – 5pm
7pm – 9pm
A funeral service will take place at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Creston North on:
Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11am.
Interment to follow at Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, Creston North.
In Gerald’s memory in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Merge.
