Georgette passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 75 years. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Georgette Edith (Mudge) Thrasher, Port Arthur, Ontario/Calgary in 1970, passed Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Ken Thrasher, she is greatly missed by her children Jacki & Martin, Jeffrey & Cheryl, Joelle & Wayne, her cherished grandchildren Courtney, John, Jazlyn, Chase, Zoe and Brooke and her Great grandbabies Mia, Kensie and Jet; Sister Susan Stover, and brother James Mudge and her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Georgette was an extraordinary woman, an angel on earth. She was generous to everyone she met, always giving of her time, love, food and gifts. Georgette was an amazing wife, incredible mother and outstanding grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. Her devotion to her family and dear friends was second to none!
She changed the face of volunteerism in Calgary, across Canada, across the globe, she was an advocate for children’s safety, well being and truly believed that every child needed to be completely loved. Georgette was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II, Golden Jubilee Medal for all of her contributions Alberta.
We are very grateful to the incredible staff at the Bow View Manor of the Brenda Strafford Foundation for all their care and amazing support of our mother.
We thank everyone for their kind words, in lieu of flowers and cards, donations to the Diabetes Foundation or the Dementia Foundation of Alberta would be graciously received.
