Age 72, of Canning, passed away suddenly Friday, December 1, 2023 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born October 25, 1951 in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late George and Marion (Smith) Paddock.
George was a member of the West Nova Scotia Regiment Regimental Association, Kentville. He enjoyed coffee time with friends, meals out and spending time building model cars.
He is survived by his sons, Kelly (Shelly) Paddock, George Paddock (Vanessa MacLeod) and Christopher Connors; grandchildren, Brandon, Paige, Brooke, Bree, Wyatt and River; and sister, Nancy.
Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his brother, Charlie.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Valley Regional Hospital ICU who worked tirelessly Thursday night and Friday to help Dad and keep him comfortable.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A burial will be held at a later date.
