It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Gail Vokey age 57 of Trinity passed peacefully on May 11th, 2024. She was predeceased by her dad Reginald Vokey.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her mom Bernice, brothers Glen (Linda), nephews Luke (Tara) and Benjamin and niece Lacey Dalton. A special friend of Gails whom she dearly loved, Wilson Hopkins, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Also special caregivers, especially Joan Tremblett who was always there to lend a helping hand, her kindness and caring will always be remembered- and amazing lady!
Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity (date to be announced).
A Service of Celebration of Life for Gail will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity (date to be announced).
Interment to follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity.
I give you this one thought to keep-
I am with you still- I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still- in each new dawn.
